Frequently asked questions
Do residents need to pay anything?
No. The society pays the subscription. Owners and tenants download Nivasta for free.
How is the water bill calculated?
Litres used (this month's reading minus last month's) × your rate per litre. Example: 2,440 litres × 10 paise = ₹244, added to the monthly maintenance.
Can we change the water rate later?
Yes. The admin can change it any month. If the rate increases, every owner and tenant is notified automatically.
Is our data safe?
Every login needs a password and a one-time code sent to the registered mobile. The app also locks with a PIN or fingerprint, and residents can only see their own flat's bills.
Does it work for tenants as well as owners?
Yes. Each person registers as owner or tenant with their flat and parking slot, and the admin approves them.
How long does setup take?
Usually one day. We add your flats and give your admin a login and a society code to share with residents.
